On-line Services

There will be no services in our churches from January to March due to increased Covid precautions. You will be able to view on-line services on our YouTube channel All Saints Ashover For Amber Churches.

Welcome to our website

Welcome to our website and to our four churches set in the rolling farmland of the Amber Valley in Derbyshire. The parishes of our four churches lie within the Church of England Diocese of Derby.

We believe we can live out our Christian faith by "working and playing together, with God, for people" - this is the motto of the Amber Churches. To learn more about us and our churches, have a look round our website - and we hope we will be able to greet you soon in person.

Our Faith - Christianity

Maybe you have questions about what it means to be a Christian - what we believe, how a man called Jesus who died 2000 years ago can be saviour and a friend. Please click on this link to learn more about Christianity.

Our Lifeline - Prayer

A small group of church members pray regularly in confidence for special concerns and for the community; if you would like prayer for yourself or a situation, please telephone a member of the Ministry Team.

If you would like to see how Christians talk to God through prayer, or get hints on how to set about this, please click on this link.

Prayer of the Month

Dear Lord,
as we travel through times of difficulty and darkness
bring us towards your light.
Help us on our journey,
let your light shine in us
and may we be a help and support to those around us.
Keep us in the knowledge of your love and peace,
now and always,
in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Amen.
